Glitzy Pearl Bunny Pin

This is a picture of a Pearl Bunny that I made. I used the same pattern as I used for my sugar bunny pins. The picture didn't turn out the best, but I think you can see it. I used the pastel mixture of small beads that I found at Walmart. I did a little section at a time and I took my time doing it. Putting on the pearls is something you can't rush. I really like Aileen's Clear Gel Tacky Glue, because you can put it on thick and not have to worry about it "showing." It's clear, so you can't see your mistakes. I used the same bunny pattern from my Sugar Bunny post. Cut the bunny shape out of Fun Foam/Craft Foam.

*Firstly, place pearls onto bunny shape with a generous amount of the clear gel tacky glue. Allow to dry thoroughly.

*Secondly, glue some ultra fine pink glitter around the edges of the bunny. After the glitter has dried, I brush some Aileen's Paper Glaze on the top of the pearls and over the glitter on the edges.

*Lastly, after the paper glaze has dried, brush on Folkart Gems in "Diamond" and let that dry. (You can find this where the Folkart Acrylic paints are located.)

The trick is, you must allow everything to dry thoroughly before moving on to the next step. I put the pin backing on at the very last with a glue gun and attached the rose with the glue gun as well. Enjoy!
