FREE Printable "Angel Wings" Cookie Topper & Instructions!

I decided to make a couple of different toppers for angel wing cookies. The toppers are for a 3 inch wide craft baggie. You can fit a pair of angel wings in each baggie. Now for the instructions...this is soooo easy to make!

I bought a bag of Keebler cookies, called "Sandies." They carry them in the cookie isle at most grocery stores and Walmart.
I then took a sharp knife with a serrated edge to it and cut straight down the middle of the cookie. The cookies cut very evenly and smoothly because they are a shortbread cookie. I then melted some white chocolate candy melts in in the microwave and dipped the cookie halves until they were completely covered. I started out making my cookies and just setting them on waxed paper, then I discovered a way to make the coating a little thinner on the cookies....set the coated cookies on a wire rack and drop the rack two or 3 times. This helps shake off any excess. To make the angel wing pattern on the cookies, I just took a regular fork and gently dragged it across the top. You can leave your cookies plain white, however, I decided to give it a few colored sprinkles on top. Allow the chocolate to harden on the cookies overnight.
