Lollipop Blossom Favors for Mother's Day~FREE Printable Mother's Day and Remembrance Tags Included

These Lollipops are not only inexpensive to make, but they also make wonderful favors for any occasion! Just change the flower or colors to suit the occasion. Start with the cheap bunches of flowers they sell at Dollar Tree or Walmart. Try to find layered blooms because they will make the best looking blossoms. You can use either the full size Tootsie Pops or the mini Tootsie Pops. I found mine at Dollar Tree for $1 a bag. With a small pair of scissons, cut off the excess paper that is twisted around the neck of the lollipop stick. This will help you slide the blossoms closer to the Tootsie Pop candy. You can put as many layers as you wish. Add a couple tiny drops of low-temp hot glue at the base of the last layer, to keep the layers from sliding off the stick. You can make a bouquet for someone special or use them as favors for weddings, birthdays, Mother's day, baby showers, Christmas, Easter, Valentine's day, etc.! Just use the appropriate flower for the season or occasion. I've also seen this project done using the mini Tootsie Pops and the flowers from Hawaiian Leis. If you are fortunate enough to own a large flower punch from Marvy Uchida, you can punch the flowers out of scrapbook paper. I believe they run approx. $11.99 each at Michael's. As you can see, they are quite expensive, unless you know you will be using them enough to make it worth your while.
