Oh-So-Yummy! Easy Cinnamon Apple Pie Bars

Easy Cinnamon Apple Pie Bars

1 Box Spice Cake Mix
2 Cups Old-Fashioned Oats
1/2 Tea. Cinnamon
1-1/2 Sticks Cold Butter, Cut Into Pieces
1 Large Egg
1 Can (21 Oz.) Apple Pie Filling and Topping

1. Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 13x9 inch baking pan with cooking release spray.

2. Combine the dry cake mix, oats and cinnamon in a large bowl. Cut in the cold butter pieces, using a pastry blender, large fork or your fingers until butter is distributed evenly. The mixture will have some clumps, but try to reduce the amount of large clumps. Stir in egg until well blended.

3. Press about 3/4 of the cake mixture into the bottom of the pan with your hands. Spread the apple pie filling over the top. Crumble remaining dough over filling. Bake approx. 25-30 minutes or until top and edges are lightly browned.

Cool in pan, then cut into bars. Great with morning coffee!
