Sweet and juicy strawberries are in season right now, so I thought I'd post this favorite dessert treat for the family. Enjoy!
1 pkg. refrigerated sugar cookie dough (20 oz.)
1 pkg. softened cream cheese (8 oz.)
1/3 Cup sugar
1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip (In Strawberry or Regular Flavor)
2 Cups of chilled, sliced strawberries
1. Preheat oven to 350°. Press the sugar cookie dough into a 12 inch pizza pan. Make sure you spray the pizza pan with cooking release spray first. Bake about 20 miutes or until golden brown. Cool Thoroughly. (TIP* If you bake the cookie crust ahead of time, you will be able to put this dessert together in no time at all.)
2. Beat the cream chesse and sugar together with an electric mixer until well blended. STIR in Cool Whip.
3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over cookie crust. Top with strawberries and serve. If you are making this dessert ahead of time, I would cover with foil and place in the fridge. I do NOT recommend covering it with plastic wrap.

I've printed this one, but will have to wait a few weeks. Our season doesn't begin until the third week of June :)
