Walmart's back-to-school sales are a great time to pick up art supplies at dirt cheap prices! Make wonderful art kit baskets for your grandkids this Christmas! You will find the best prices are 2-3 weeks before the start of school. For example, you can pick up Crayola brand crayons for .25 cents a box, Crayola Markers for $1.00 and paper for .15 cents! They have all kinds of supplies, including paints, Playdough, scissors and more, so you'll have to take a look.

A fun thing to do that is for sure. This reminded me. I recently reconnected with a dear friend and her daughter. When they moved away Leigh Anne was just 5 and I just adored her and she me.... but after so many years, I really did not think she remembered me... when I asked her about it she said oh YES, she does! And rattled off about 7 or 8 things she specifically remembered .. on being that I made her a little activity kit for the car to keep her busy while they moved from Washington to New Mexico... remember we did not have portable DVDs and computer games to keep our kids busy!!! lol
